Steve is the branch manager of Columbia Funding Mortgage, located in the Mill Creek Town Center in Mill Creek, WA. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda and they have two adult children, Caleb, a recent graduate of the University of WA, and Aubrea who attends the University of Oregon. The Knox’s live in Mill Creek and are active members of the community.
Steve and Linda were founding members of the Jackson High School Track and Cross Country Booster Club and through their connections to high school athletics; they took the lead in reviving the long standing Mill Creek event called the “Run of the Mill”. Upon assuming the lead of the Run of the Mill, Steve and Linda turned the event into a charity event and have grown participation from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand runners and walkers. During the last 5 years the Run of the Mill has donated in excess of $100K to local charities and has become one of the most popular running charity events in Washington.
